Veronika was born in Switzerland and grew up in Brazil, The Philippines, Japan, and New Zealand. Among the tea ceremonies in Japan and the Maori poi dancing in New Zealand arose Veronika’s passion for film and anthropology, and a curiosity for family planning and women’s rights. With a background in Journalism (São Paulo, Brazil) and Visual Anthropology (London, UK), Veronika worked for the past five years as an ethnographic filmmaker based in London, with a focus in healthcare in Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries. She is currently pursuing a degree in Reproductive and Sexual Health Research at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to specialise her future research and ethnographic films to help women worldwide.
